RUCKUS is an award winning, five piece country rock outfit hailing from the outer Eastern burbs of Mexico (Melbourne Victoria Australia!!) Four good lookin’ blokes and a likely lassie. RUCKUS have developed a strong and loyal following and cemented their place as one of Australia’s premier country rock bands, with their blistering live performances and their easy going, approachable manner off stage.

RUCKUS wins crowds where ever they go, playing all around Australia at festivals, truck shows, B&S balls and rodeos. Ya may even find them tucked in the corner of a country pub Ruckin’ up a storm.

With their new multi award winning album “Love This Country” tucked under their wing, RUCKUS are really looking forward to, and very pleased to be playing at the Alexandra Truck Show and they have one thing in mind……….That’s to entertain!!!.

RUCKUS are: Michael Abrey out front on vocals, guitar and banjo. Barry Tiplady on bass and vocals. Andy Giles on drums and backing vocals, Roland Kretchmar on lead/slide guitar and backing vocals and helping out on violin the lovely and talented Penelope Somerville.

RUCKUS’s music is a mix of traditional to hard rockin’ country covers interspersed with their own award winning original material.
