The Black Kites formed in 2010 with Ange and Mark aiming to put together a band that would include songs that would display their musical influences. They both go back a long way playing music together since their high school days. Like so many musicians and singer songwriters they cut their teeth on The Beatles, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Cream, JJ Cale, Credence Clearwater Revival, Paul Kelly, Delta, Chicago and Texan Blues, Southern Blues Rock, and many Americana artists over the years.

The Black Kites are very adaptable and there is a song in their sets for everyone, they have experience performing in a variety of venues from Pubs, open air music festivals and private functions.
